Mark is not really a writer or a photographer, as much as this site might lead you to believe that he is. But it's his website at the end of the day and I guess he gets to decide what goes on it.
Photos on the blog are all on 35mm film, mostly taken on fuji 400 rolls. Mark likes these because they have 36 shots per roll and are pretty cheap and forgiving. He uses a Pentax P3, or a Ricoh KR5 Super. The black and whites are taken on Ilford rolls, of course.
Mark has an MA and a BA from Simon Fraser University, and his thesis Why Do We Put Prisoners to Work? pretty much just answers that question.
While not actively looking for work, Mark will always entertain interesting opportunities. He can be reached at mark@markdunn.ca
Mark is based in Vancouver, BC.
